PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated 12 August 2026Downwyrd collects nothing. There is no account to make, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. The game runs entirely on your device. Everything below is just the detail behind that sentence.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Nothing. Downwyrd contains no analytics, no crash reporting services, no advertising and no third-party software development kits that gather information about you. We do not build a profile of you, and we have nothing to sell, share or lose.
There is no sign-in. The game never asks for your name, your email address or any other personal detail, because it has no use for one.
YOUR SAVE DATA
Your progress (your gold, your dice, the floors you have reached) is stored on your device.
If you are signed in to iCloud, that save also syncs through Apple's iCloud so it follows you between your own devices. It is held in your private iCloud storage, on your own Apple account, under Apple's terms. We cannot see it, read it or retrieve it, and we receive no copy of it.
You can switch this off at any time in the iOS Settings app, under your Apple Account, iCloud, and then the app list. Downwyrd keeps working; your save simply stays on the one device.
Deleting the app removes the local save. To remove the iCloud copy as well, delete the app's data from iCloud in the same Settings screen.
PURCHASES
Any purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Your payment details go to Apple and never pass through us. We never see your card, your billing address or your Apple Account.
Apple gives us anonymised sales and download reports, which tell us how many copies sold in which countries. They do not identify anyone.
CHILDREN
Downwyrd collects no personal information from anyone, of any age. There is nothing in the game that gathers data from children, because there is nothing in the game that gathers data at all.
SHARING
We share no data with anyone, for the straightforward reason that we hold none.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If the game ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a future version of Downwyrd were ever to collect anything, we would say so here plainly and in advance.
